I am only up to Class 12 … mostly because I repeat some of my favorite days…. A short drive to downtown or south Austin with easy shaded parking in the front. It was so peaceful and quiet, exactly what we needed at the end of our trip. Unfortunately the bathroom had a bunch of mosquitos flying around maybe came in each time we opened the door in the eve?
Places to stay in Austin
I have found some wonderful quilt shops by reading your poot. Im looking forward to ur site… I also did 20 min complete beginner yoga.. Im 25 mother of 8 mnth boy.. I become very lazy day by dayand recently diagnosed severe oesteoarthris.. There is no opportunity of yoga in my country so decided to do it via internet …as i started 20min complete beginner ,should i repeat this video on daily basis or please recommend the next step.. We found you to be just righ for us!
Doing a great job, keep it up! And so will we! Your relaxed and patient manner is calming and encouraging, so my question is, do you run any yoga camps throughout the year?
I saw in your email today that you were teaching in NY this weekend. Is there somewhere that you post when you are teaching outside of Austin? We would love to know ahead of time when you are teaching closer to Boston so we can take one of your classes.
Do you know what your schedule might be the week of the 22nd to the 26th? Hope you have a lovely Valentines Day. Adriene, I love your website coaching and approach, and have been sending your link to everyone and anyone for months! Are you teaching any yoga classes March or so that I might come to and see you for an in person class?! Still figuring out the trip, housing etc, but that would be such a treat! A friend introduced me to yoga just before new year… and now I am at the 22 nd day of your 30 day challenge.
Thanks for all the effort you made making them… finding a class is a challenge work is irregular but thanks to your videos. Just a quick thanks for your yoga offerings. Keep doing what your doing! I want to thank you for compiling awesome videos its helping a lot overall. Would love to hear back from you. I am really wanting to make my abs look a lot better for summer this year. Do you have any yoga poses or videos that could help with that? I just wanted to stop by to say what a beautiful person I think you are, sharing all of this with us.
Do you ever come to Chicago to teach? I really appreciate your work and I like very much practicing yoga following your videos which I found incredibly inspiring. Thank you very much for all your work! Doctors told me that I could take graeat advantages from streching and yoga.
Could you please tell me if there are some videos among yours that you would recomand in cases like mine? I hope you will answer me, it is very important. Thank you so much. I had a question about your classes in Austin.
Could I get an email address so that I can email you some specific questions? Adriene, I was looking for a yoga teacher certification program for over the summer.
Is there any you can recommend. Your channel has really inspired me to teach. I work with psychiatric patients and they love your videos as coping skills and to help get their thoughts and emotions back under control. So if there are any programs you can recommend, that would be amazing. Hi, The great website for me who are beginners. Adreine while doing yoga looking on the you tube i have a feeling that am i doing correctly or am i forgetting something while doing the exercise and this thinking make me uncomfortable even if i have finished the session.
So what would i prefer to do yoga while watching at the same time or first watch and then practice yoga. Also let me know how can i be happy after practicing the yoga and feel energetic without any thoughts in my mind. I wish you every success in life. I came across your videos on YouTube, and I have completely been inspired. I originally started yoga to find relaxation, and to help out with my mental health. I have now completed days in a row of your yoga videos, and look forward to doing yoga with you every day!
Along with becoming a healthy, happier person, I have lost over 54lbs, and feel better then I have ever felt. I have convinced a large group of people to try your videos, and they have all fallen in love with yoga as well. Keep doing what you are doing! You have touched so many lives, even all the way up in Canada! Just wanted to say that I love practicing with you through your videos.
I live in Detroit, and I absolutely love love your yoga practice online, thank you for sharing. They help me so much, because sometimes there is just not enough time in the day to go to the gym.
I definitely want to join a live class one day, or like I saw above, a live tour would be great! You are a great teacher and most important: Is there any video of a regular yoga lesson with you as a teacher of course? I have been diagnosed with anxiety like at least 6 episodes a day, bad kind , am a board certified massage therapist, and I am also not very flexible.
So I really needed to start yoga. My first video was your anxiety video on youtube and I am now hooked! Thank you for doing this for free and doing it with humor. I think that was what made me want to continue with yoga. I was wondering though, do you have any specific tips for someone like me?
I signed up for your weekly e-mails already, but I thought maybe you had more tips than you usually give out. I was just wondering if you ever come out to Houston to teach yoga? Until then, I will just see you thru my computer every week! I have done some of your yoga videos on You tube off and on and have just this week started your Yoga Camp, have completed 5 days thus far.
I have back issues so it helps me tremendously!! Thank you sooo much for your videos they actually make me want to get on the mat and FWFG. Then I found your awesome videos. A friend told me about Thirty Days and I am loving it. I am fairly fit at 62 and I love yoga, but had lapsed and was SO bored with the gym routine. There are lots of classes here and there where I live Napa Valley , but I absolutely love the way you teach and that I can do it in my home and around my varying art studio hours.
I am only up to Class 12 … mostly because I repeat some of my favorite days…. You are simply, the best! Are you on Instagram? Love your classes online, but know that they would be magical in person. I follow you on YouTube and just love your morning and bed time yoga.
We follow your videos everyday and we are really loving it. Thank you for the inspirational yoga videos. I have recently broken my coccyx and i have found that your yoga videos help relief the pain. I have been following your youtube videos since April , I am American and living abroad and really just stumbled upon your youtube page but I view this happenstance as a real blessing. I realise now I was suffering from a bad bout of depression over the winter which was made worse with a stressful move from Amsterdam to Antwerp.
In March, I also happened to be in the Brussels airport the morning of the bombings in March and was lucky enough to not be in the check in area at that moment. I was trying to travel home to Pennsylvania for Easter I would have to say that the event stirred enough fear and shock in me to wake me up a bit and decide to change my mental path. I am very fortunate to have stumbled upon your youtube page while I was staying in hotels coming back to Belgium from the US.
The stress of being in airports again was so great that your videos gave me some momentary peace. I am so grateful and find it hard to describe how much you have helped me. From this point I have tried to do at least a video of yours each day, sometimes I do two if I find I need more healing time. It really was your kind words and lovely outlook that got me through so many dark moments these past few months and I have been meaning to write you and tell you this.
Is there any chance you will stop through any other cities while you are in Europe!? I would love to take a class of yours if you come to Belgium! Or if you ever want to see Antwerp you always have a place to stay, it is the least I could do to Thank you for all you have done for me. Thank you so much for everything you do! Yoga has really helped me reconnect to my body and my own strength and power.
Recently, my neurologist told me yoga is not a great idea for migraine sufferers like myself because downward dog and other inverted poses can trigger migraines. I am 15 years old and I live in the UK and I took up yoga at home about 2 years ago.
I recently had a break away from it so i am not as flexible as I was but I am now looking to improve my mind with yoga and not just my body. For instance the first time I ever took a yoga class, I got this feeling which I cant explain in any other way except it was full of euphoria!
I was just wondering which videos of yours you would suggest as I have done a few and they are incredible! Your videos have brought back my confident self and of course a better posture! You have really helped me in general life even though I have never seen you in person, and for that I am truly grateful. Adriene, Thank you so much for sharing your gift with everyone! You are an amazing teacher.
Your personality shines through your videos and I am a big fan of your sense of humor! I appreciate the time and dedication to you give to your followers and the love you put into your videos. Do you plan on visiting Switzerland, Germany or Austria somewhen more or less soon for giving classes?
That would be awesome. Please let me know! I am coming to Berlin and Amsterdam in a few weeks! I know it says both days are sold out, but is there any chance you might have space for one more please? After moving to The Netherlands 3 years ago from my native Mexico, I faced a lot of personal challenges, from the cultural shock to the weather and working culture.
A few months ago I suffer what is called a burn out from work because of the amount of stress and lack of self awareness I let my self be dragged to. I decided I was going back to my life, great, happy and with purpose.
After founding your videos and following 30 days of yoga and 30 days yoga camp and letting myself be jealous of my me-time. Thanks for the bottom of my heart you have been key to my rehabilitation to my inner happiness. Brenda, I feel the same way! These videos and this attitude has saved me on days.
Thank you so much for all your videos, I have been doing 30 day yoga camp every day. You are a wonderful teacher with a great sense of humor. Practicing yoga with you is helping me in so many ways, I am very grateful for you and finding your classes on YouTube. Maybe one day you will teach in San Diego and I can join your class in person, that would awesome!
I am a beginner in Yoga practice. I am now starting with the foundation of Yoga, and wish I could do them correctly. Strangely your voice has become one of the most familiar for me! Weird how the internet works huh? I am planning a trip through the states in December and I just wanted to confirm that you will be taking your class in Austin on December 17th?
Either way, thank you for the familiar voice, the videos, the new found strength and flexibility and some days sanity I have found in your videos. I was wondering if you ever considered incorporating live, streaming classes. I am so in love with the community you have created with YWA, and am so grateful to be a part of it!
I was wondering if you will be teaching in Austin around the Holiday season? I will be in Austin visiting my sister in March for a couple days. Hoping we can some how make it in time for me to attend your Saturday class! First I want to say you are amazing! Your Yoga Revolution is changing my life!
On one of the last couple videos you mentioned a FWFG yoga retreat, is there another one coming up soon?! I searched and can only find info on past retreats. I would love to practice with you in person! Is there going to be another in Europe soon. I cannot get my foot up in one move.
Are my arms too short? My belly too poofy? Hi Adriene, i am doing your revolution yoga series. But i am in menstruation periods. What is your advise about this situation. Should i stop practising yoga?? I need a very quick response. After day 21, I was inspired to put a comment on my facebook page and spread the word. Lots of my friend are now doing it and they have told their friends. Some had already found you. I had a stomach injury a few years ago so with scarring its mis-shapen, however with your yoga, for the first time it is changing shape to look like a stomach, wow, after 3 weeks.
You are inspirational, and a gift. Hi Adriene, I finally committed to following your 31 days of yoga practice you recently published on YT. You really talk through your videos so well that anybody can follow at any level.
Thank you and I look forward to learning so much more from them. I hope to catch you on your visit to Los Angeles in a few months. Delighted I found your videos. OMG you have been such an inspiration.
I love that you have made yoga feel fun and expansive for me instead of constricted the way it has in the past. You crack me up and I think you are awesome and adorable. Thank you for singlehandedly making me like yoga. I have been practicing with you through your youtube videos for a couple years now. Might sound weird, but I feel like we are friends LOL. Anyways, thank you for being you and for teaching and being so open minded and great. Furthermore, I was wondering if you had any input on any yoga schools to become a yoga instructor in Pennsylvania?
This year I decided to challenge myself to change this and find ease and enjoyment if I could. Practising with you nearly every day from the start of this year has not only found me feeling stronger physically but feeling less stressed and lighter mentally.
I just want to say thank you for making your yoga practise so light heated, enjoyable and self motivating. I never regret coming to my mat and hope to continue to bring yoga into my life with you as a guide!!
Hi Adriene — love you so much! Wondering if you do any retreats? Adriene, I have just completed your Revolution series for the second time. I have an advanced back condition called spondylolisthesis, and after the first month of Revolution I was feeling such significant pain reduction and sleeping so much better with so much less pain that I repeated your series.
I would love to know what kind of yoga you have specialized in and if you know of any teacher training similar to yours that I could pursue in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area?
Thank you for your work and inspiration! Thanks for all your videos, they are really helpful. I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Any suggestion is totally welcomed!!! Congrats as you share all your knowledge and kindess all around the world! Thanks in advance Love Mercedes. I began a new journey that started with you this year.
I randomly came upon you and completed first your 30 days of yoga, followed by Revolution. I wake at 6am every day which has never happened in my life and join you in my practice room. You have made me laugh and cry…I feel like we are in the room together…and Benji brings me incredible joy when he pops up on the screen.
I live in a small town in Ohio but I hope to visit Austin and meet you one day. You are an inspiration and I am grateful for what you have given me.
If you ever get to the east coast of Florida and want to go sailing, please reach out! Dolphins are playing outside my balcony at the thought. I have suffered from depression and anxiety for all of my adult life. Last year due to additional stressors it became debilitating, many days leaving me bedridden and despondent. I knew that I had to do something different.
I made many lifestyle and diet changes, including daily yoga. Your videos are a motivation to get up and do yoga every day. Hi Adriene, I started with Yoga with Adriene about 9 months ago and am now addicted. I was quite convinced that in time I would need a hip replacement but now that pain has disappeared as well.
The sense of wellbeing that I feel after my sessions with you is wonderful. And I also feel more patient and a kindness to others and myself. I love your humour and am always laughing with you. Thank you so much for your lovely sessions.
I feel the love and so appreciate being able to do them with you. Thank you from New Zealand. Have you ever considered offering teacher training online? Dear Adriene, I follow you for years and need to write you to thank you. You changed my life giving me tools to change my body and mind which together changed my spirituality. Please keep on with such an amazing work. Hope to go to Austin someday to attend your live clases. PS Yoga Revolution its th best!!! I just finished Day 15 of your Yoga Revolution program and feel great!
Are you planning on coming out with another 30 or 31 day program this summer? Thanks for spreading a lot of positivity and love. Adriene, Just wanted to reach out to you to thank you for what you do here. I am a physical therapist in MN and new to Yoga, and wanted to let you know how much your teachings having impacted my practice as a therapist.
I am able to adopt the mindfulness, relaxation, and even some of the poses with my patients in pain and have noticed a marked improvement in my results. My name is Paul and I teach at an elementary school in southwest Austin. At the end of the year we do an activity for the school so teachers can begin cleaning and clearing out their classrooms.
We call it a three-ring circus. It would be three 45 minute sessions and it is held on June first. I really appreciate your approach to presenting the practice of yoga to us through your videos. There is a small budget available. My girlfriend is is from Atlanta but now she lives in Dallas. My girlfriend and I are fans of youtube channel Yoga with Adriene.
Personally I do yoga based on your videos every other day. Last year I was in Austin and I fell in love that city. Just later on I figured that you live and teach yoga in Austin. I know we will go to Austin to explore city and its surroundings at the end of May and I would like to ask you your schedule so I can make appointment whenever you have public class. I would love to attend to your class and my girlfriend would receive a nice surprise. My friend told me about your youtube channel about a year ago and I was not so into yoga then.
Thank you for all the energy and happiness that you bring us in your videos. Your videos have helped me through all the phases this year and you have a video for everything. Thank you for taking your time and making these videos for us!
Please take these words to your heart and keep posting videos. All the best from me to you! Hi Adriene, I purchased the downloadable version of camp yoga yesterday but I never received a link to where I can download them from? There is no other contact details to send this too so hoping someone will see this and help me out.
Have you tried entering the email address you used when you signed up at http: You might have to set up and confirm a password. Hi Adrienne, I am new to yoga and came across your website when searching for different videos to do at home a couple months ago. Your videos are so inspirational and motivating. I am about to get married and go on a 10 week honeymoon in Europe! What downloadable videos from your site would you recommend would be the best when travelling for a beginner?
Again LOVE your videos, you make it so enjoyable and easy to want to get on the mat! I love your yoga-videos! I just wanted to text you for a wish. First off let me start by saying thank you for your yoga; I love everything about practicing with you, I admire your simplistic surroundings, your fun loving attitude and humor, your nail polish, etc. Last month I attempted to do 30 days of yoga and did great for a week then started missing days and then about a solid week at the end of the month.
This month I started yoga revolution and have done well but now have already missed 3 days. My goal is to get to the point of actually doing yoga daily. Thank you so much for this community. I live in Boston but am traveling to Austin this summer, and I have the chance to take a class at Practice Yoga on Wednesday July 19th. Will you be teaching that day? It would be such an amazing opportunity to take a class with you!
I really connect with your style of practice. Whimsy, gentleness and humor are what I hope to bring to my own work. I am a travel nurse in dialysis right now, but I have a dream of a different life someday, one that involves animal rescue on a sustainable farm somewhere beautiful, with my own yoga studio nearby or on the property.
Would you be willing to share where or how you trained? I just think you are the coolest person, and your videos have helped me become happier and healthier. I love that you focus on the mental health as well as the physical health. I have been doing the Yoga Revolution and I have noticed such a difference in my body and confidence, so thank you. I love all your yoga tutorials and try to join you every evening.
I was wondering if you can recommend one of your tutorials I can re-visit as I am a runner and would like a nice 30 min daily routine that concentrates on calf, quads, glutes and lower back…not forgetting hip flexors. I actually enjoy your cyclist one as it works similar groups but cannot find it for some reason. Hi Adriene, I really enjoy your YouTube-classes.
You are one of the few yoga teachers I can do yoga without looking on the screen. Your guiding voice is mostly enough. A good oportunity to meet you in person at Practice Yoga Austin.
I wanted to say that I had been suffering with bad Plantar Fasciitis for a few months. On a whim, I looked up yoga videos and found YOU! I have come to LOVE your videos. I only wish I could make it to one of your classes. Thank you for the fantastic inspiration! Could you do a tutorial on hand stands? I d love to make the hs training in India. I have been practising with you online for about 18 months now from Perth in Western Australia.
Is there anyway to find out where in the world you be at this time? My fingers are firmly crossed that perhaps your FWFG roadshow dates could work or I could catch one of your classes or events during the time. I want to tell you that I found your yoga camp on you tube, and it is a timely find, as I am working through accepting myself, and growing a healthier mental foundation.
Your videos have provided me with additional tools on this journey to calming my mind, and finding peace with myself. Thank you for what you do. I am a beginner, but my goal is to be able to connect to my authentic energy by being able to do the scorpion pose. It is several years away, but it is the journey that matters. I have been practicing Yoga with Adriene for 6 months now.
It has been powerful in my life. One and a half years ago I broke my wrist and had surgery, upon rehabilitation I found your site and gently began with 30 days of Yoga. It took me about 40 days to complete, but that got me started. Same injury also gave me a torn rotator cuff darn that black ice! I look forward to meeting you at the Shrine in October.
Peace to you my friend. Adriene , I love your videos, yours are the only ones I really seem to feel like being me to that place of awareness…. I encourage my friends, family and parents who I work with in my profession to look you up all the time.
Thank you for your videos…I love your spirit and awesome personality. I would first like to say thank you for all the love and encouragement you pour into your videos! They have helped me grow into the person that I am striving to become! Do you ever come to Omaha, Nebraska?? It is close to where I am and it would be a dream come true if you did!! Hi Adriene, I am planing a visit to Austin and wonder if you will be teaching on Sept 16th or 23rd.
Thanks for inspiring me toch start yoga. Ik finished the 30 days course and will go on for 30 days yoga camp. I live in Holland and trained crossfit four days a week untill last year. Then I had surgery on my nek. Van not run anymore. Thanks for that xxx. Just bought tickets for your SF show!
You inspire me every day. I never expected to be laughing out loud during yoga, but that was a happy surprise. I am curious the length of each event..
I just wanted to send you some love and say that I am really grateful for all that you do. We love your work and thank you for keeping us active, mindful, and helping us to be more present.
So I just wanted to say thank you and that you make a positive difference in the universe. If you are ever in the Boston area please let us know we would love to take a class! Your effortless, happy, nononsense and highly qualitative way of teaching yoga made me a FWFG addict about 2 years ago. Next week I will visit NYC for the first time and I would like, if possible, to take a nice class in the city.
I just wanted to say these yoga videos are amazing I wake up every morning to see that my dad is doing it! And he has inspired me to do it too. These are wonderful videos you are coming up with and beautiful scenarios in the background.
Keep up the good work! I am a yoga teacher in Ontario, Canada. You have inspired my practice beyond words. You are literally my favourite person in the world actually. My husband and friends roll their eyes because I talk about you like you are my friend: Do you ever make your way to Canada? Or, do you have a training coming up similar to the one in Nicaragua? So wish I could have comeee.
Thank you Adrienne for your amazing Yoga videos. Thank you for sharing your joy. Kate from London UK. I just wanted to thank you for all that you do. Following along with your videos has helped me in so many ways and I truly love yoga now.
Will you ever do an online Yoga Teacher Training? I just love your style and so much about you resonates with me! Hi Adrian, thank you for your amazing videos, they are the only thing I have been able to stick to in home setting for longer than a week. Are the classes at the Blanton art museum ever going to be happening again? They were so great! All the best, continue your great work!
The space itself was absolutely perfect. The mattress was nicer than the one we have at home, the place stayed cool during the Austin August heat, and the location was outstanding.
We were walking distance to everything we wanted: I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Austin. Not gonna lie, my airbnb was my favorite part of our trip. The goats in the backyard made it a five star experience! Chris is a great host and will go above and beyond to ensure his guest have a good time in Austin. After we checked in he took us on a tour and showed us around the city. The cottage is spacious and the bed sleeps two with no problem.
The location is 5 stars for sure. It is close enough so you can walk to South Congress and 1st street, which have some of the best restaurants and bars that Austin, has to offer. If there is something missing, ask Chris as I stated he will go out of his way to make you feel at home.
The complementary drinks in the fridge and free bikes to borrow are a great touch and really make the stay all that much nicer.
I would recommend renting a car as it made getting around much easier. As we were ending our stay we commented how much we loved our sheets and Chris gave us a pair to take home! I would highly recommend staying here. Great place, and amazing location! Chris went above and beyond with a fridge stocked with beverages, and he took us on a little tour of the area the moment we got in. He even gave us a much-needed can of mosquito spray.
Chris' home was better in person even with the great photos of the place. He kept is very clean and even stocked the fridge with a few beverages.
He was so kind and very helpful without being intrusive. He went above and beyond as a host. He drove my group to and from ACL everyday. How awesome is that! Chris is a great host and guy! I will book his place whenever I am back in Austin!
Thank you for a great experience Chris!! The location could not be better! Close to everything cool in Austin and not so close that guests find parking a nightmare. The neighborhood was quiet and you felt very safe at the SoCo Cottage. He has another house on the property and you never knew other guests were there. Wonderful cottage, and just as it was shown in the photos. Chris was super helpful in taking us both around and showing us the neighborhood attractions.
He went above and beyond expectations to make us feel welcome and help us enjoy our stay! Ah not sure where to start here. This is the second Airbnb experience I've had where the pictures are quite deceiving. This is an old bungalow. A previous user summed it up as "not the type of place you would want to walk around barefoot in" and I'd have to agree. The floors were pretty dirty. There are holes everywhere, in the floor one in the bathroom where you can see the ground and foundation , holes in the walls covered by paper plates and holes in bedroom plugged by paper towels.
The whole building likely needs an hvac and electrical overhaul, as there were power strips, cords, space heaters and wires everywhere. When we arrived there, it was like a Febreze bomb had gone off, the smell so overwhelming I was tasting and choking on it. I opened all the doors in an attempt to air out the space, but it definitely lingered, and I'm not sure what other odor might have previously existed that required covering up so extensively.
The "backyard" was like a communal area where there were multiple cars parked daily. Also, there was a regular stream of random men everywhere that didn't introduce themselves- doing chores, painting, like they all lived there maybe in the teepee? If I were a woman staying here alone, I definitely wouldn't feel comfortable, as there is limited privacy.
Overall, I got a sense that this place was where either a lot of dudes lived, or a place where a lot of dudes crash. Chris himself said he was coming to meet us upon arrival, but we waited around an hour and then decided to just go get lunch because we were starving.
This was my first experience with AirBnb. I honestly didn't know what to expect but I'm glad I tried it out. The "casita" was perfect and was exactly as described and photographed. The place was super private and very comfy. Chris left detailed instructions for everything which made finding the place, parking, etc. I also like that you used a code to unlock the door so you didn't feel like you had to bother anyone to get a key or be there at a specific time. I never actually met Chris but he did text me on the first evening to make sure everything was good and to offer any help if I needed.
I thought that was nice. Bottom line I would highly recommend this place. Probably best for one person or a couple. The neighborhood was lovely and you could walk to several things if you wanted.
We were immediately welcomed upon arrival to this cozy casita. Hosts were helpful and available but not intrusive. The casita was clean and bright inside. Parking was tight on site but I was thankful to not have to park on the street! I love the Hyde park neighborhood. It's a perfect location between north and south Austin, full of native and historic character.
It's quiet but super close to everywhere you could want to go. Chris was super accommodating with our check out time as well, which i was super thankful for! A great experience overall! Host was super nice and welcomed us as soon as we arrived. Chris explained all about the property, where to shop, eat, and have fun. I would absolutely come back.
The Casita was just as it is in the pictures. Very cozy and lovely place to stay for me and my husband. Chris was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend this place! Perfect location for exploring Austin. House was clean and exactly as expected. Would absolutely stay there again!
This Casita was incredible. We flew in from LA for a wedding and lived it. And close to food and shops. The Casita itself was perfect. Very clean and modern. Bed was comfortable, had everything we needed. Iron, stove, microwave, great shower. If I come back to Austin. Will definitely stay here again!
This was a great place to stay. I read the information provided in the full booking, and had no questions whatsoever. The neighborhood is cute and the location is private--everything is nearby, too. Sangeeta and Chris were immensely hospitable throughout our entire stay. We truly felt right at home. The casita was beautiful and impeccably clean.
We also loved the neighborhood in which it was located. It was very quiet and peaceful which was just what we needed. It is also in a prime location! We would highly recommend these hosts to anyone needing a place to stay in Austin.
Such an awesome studio! Comfortable, modern, and so accessible. Sangeeta gave us great recommendations for the area and we really enjoyed our time and accommodations. Would definitely book again! Great place to stay while in Austin! Chris and Sangeeta offer great value and a comfortable place with all your basic amenities.
You are minutes from most travel spots in Austin. Would definitely stay here again. Comfy mattress, ac, great water pressure. We would definitely recommend if you just need a place to sleep. Super cute, very clean, extremely comfortable unit! Awesome location and had everything we needed! The hosts were extremely responsive to any questions we had and were very kind and thoughtful. We loved the clean modern look of the place. Lots of great places nearby within walking distance for food and fun.
Just like the picture! Your own private efficiency studio. It was my first Air B and B! I'm going to echo all other reviews and say that the shower was gorgeous! Excellent stay in this cozy space - do yourself a favor and eat at Hillside Farmecy down the road - it's beautiful and the food was so good! My boyfriend and I had the most amazing time in Austin. The granny flat was everything we could have wanted after a long day of traveling.
Kristine's flat was perfect. The shower is such a treat, as well as the king size bed. It was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. I would come back in a heartbeat. Great location, close to the I35 so easy, convenient drive to anywhere we wanted to go. The AC was much appreciated. The bed was huge, and comfy. The bathroom had the biggest shower I've ever seen.
Unfortunately the bathroom had a bunch of mosquitos flying around maybe came in each time we opened the door in the eve? I did manage to lock us out once, but the host Casey was really kind and there to let us in right away. There was a big fridge so you could store your own food if you wanted. Overall good stay and would recommend.
Great space located very close to downtown Austin. Kristine was easy to communicate with and fixed any problems we had. The space was clean and quiet at night. I would definitely stay here again. My sister and I enjoyed the convenience of Kristine's place, it is perfectly centrally located. The check-in and communications process was efficient and easy. We did feel the price was a bit high considering our week night stay and that there were no small kitchen amenities.
The apartment had a lot of personality, very Austin. We did feel the linens could have been fresher, but all in all the location was perfect for what we needed and the king bed was very comfortable. Overall a decent place to stay. It could have used a deep cleaning, but the main items linens, towels, floors appeared clean. The bed was comfortable and bathroom had nice updates. The owner promptly accommodated a special request for a fan.
Very quiet neighborhood, and although I never encountered anything bad the area did seem a bit sketchy vacant, boarded up houses one block away. Would likely stay again if the price was a bit cheaper. The place is nice and much more comfy than a hotel room for a good couple's getaway. The bathroom is perfect aside from the sliding door having no handle and the mildewed towels but the beautifulllll shower made up for all of that Def will stay again.
I was left alone, wasn't bothered n never saw the host which is the way I wanted. Modern, fresh, clean, and a huuuuge shower. And a king bed and smart tv to boot. We used Ride Austin a lot and everything downtown was a minute drive away. What an awesome spot! We had a great time staying at this micro home during our quick trip to Austin.
There was plenty of space of us and all of our things, and the location can't be beat. We were within minutes of everything. Edward was welcoming and accommodating, and the description, photos, etc are very accurate, which we appreciated! We also enjoyed meeting their friendly Beagle pup: This place was great for our stay. We came for a quick weekend trip and enjoyed the amenities. The house is on a quiet street in a nice neighborhood, which felt safe and homey.
Coffee in the morning was great, especially as it allowed us to get out of the house and roam the city all day long. Because we arrived very late in the evening and left very early in the morning - and were literally out of the house all day long - we never met Edward in person - but found him to be incredibly helpful and courteous, even offering to help with our reservation should we not be able to arrive on time due to inclement weather.
All in all - a great place to stay, a great experience all around, and a great city to be in. Would definitely go back again. Edwards place was the perfect air Bnb. The family is super welcoming and has everything laid out well in the house.
They gave us instructions for everything, tips, and tricks of austin. The food suggestions were super helpful. Louie was such a sweet pup too!!!!! I really enjoyed Edward and Susana's casita! It was perfect for my trip. I was able to have a space to myself to decompress, and I had all the amenities I could want. Edward gave me the space I wanted to unwind, and was an excellent host. The casita is even better in person than the pictures make it seem!! I can't wait for my next visit to Austin and this casita.
First time to Austin and the unit was a perfect home base. Literally to everything, great location, great amenities, and very comfortable bed. Very quant, cute, and spacious for the size. I would stay again! I was Edward's first long-term guest in the casita, and stayed for three months after relocating to Austin. Edward and his family are very welcoming! The casita is fully stocked with everything you need, from kitchen spices to incense.
It's in a great location close to great restaurants, shopping, a grocery store, and several bus stops with routes direct to downtown. Edward has a nice garden, and guests are welcome to help themselves to garlic, tomatoes, and other goodies. He and his family are very generous, and often shared meals with me when they were cooking out or had extra food. I'm a bit of an introvert, and they respected my privacy even though I lived just 10 feet from their home.
Internet access is through a guest network, so if you bring your own television, devices like Chromecast will not work. The internet connection was spotty, though that situation should improve when Hidden by Airbnb Fiber is installed in a month or so. Edward and his family were away on vacation for several weeks, resulting in a slower response time with minor emergencies though this was primarily the fault of the friend they left to handle emergencies in their absence.
I would also recommend working out a regular cleaning schedule before you arrive if you are a long term guest. Overall, I would highly recommend Edward as a host. Though the casita is small, it has everything you need to have a comfortable stay!
Great place and host. Drew was very attentive and the place was just as pictured. Quaint, local street with easy access to all part of the neighborhood. Drew and his wife were amazing hosts! My boyfriend and I were moving across country with all of our stuff packed in our car.
Drew was so accommodating and let us park in his driveway instead of on the street. We stayed 3 nights and the place was adorable and very clean, exactly like the pictures show. On our last night we were a little ignorant and didn't pull our car into the driveway. Drew texted us that night asking if we wanted to but unfortunately we didn't see his text. The next morning someone had cut the rooftop carrier off the car and throw all of our stuff into the street.
Drew was great and called us as soon as he saw and even picked up all of our things and brought them onto his porch! Really went above and beyond. A very convenient location The hosts were extremely helpful. Drew sent emails before my arrival that took care of all questions we had. This could not have been better. Drew was so nice and welcoming.
He made us feel right at home and made sure we had everything we needed. We chose the location because we were visiting family in the neighborhood and it turned out to be walking distance to so much. Thanks is Drew and Simone! Great place to stay!! Drew was an excellent host and the place was very clean and in an amazing location. Definitely recommend this place and host for Austin visits! Drew was very helpful.
A couple weeks before our stay he emailed to confirm and also sent us some tips and suggestions. He might be the most helpful host I have encountered on Airbnb yet! We stayed over a holiday weekend and though he was not personally able to greet us, he called the morning of to check in and let us know that he was available by phone for anything we might need. We had a great stay at this spot -- the room over the garage is large, clean, well-equipped, and private.
The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood where you can walk or jog safely, and is close to several bus stops that will take you south thru the UTexas campus to downtown Austin in a short while. Drew and Simone were great hosts, who gave us privacy but were pleasant and ready with Austin information when we asked for it. We will certainly consider this place again for future visits to our daughter, and recommend it highly to anyone willing to get away from the urban downtown hotel experience.
Dede's place was perfect! It was very spacious, charming and clean! It had everything we could have asked for. We did not ever meet Dede, but she left us a great binder full of things to do in Austin Really enjoyed our stay here, would highly recommend! Dede's place is the cutest, felt like we were floating in a tree house!! It's super quaint and cozy, has amazing light and very clean! Plus in true southern hospitality form, she left us two cold beers in the fridge for our arrival.
And super easy and cheap uber rides to get to some of the best spots in the city! Would love to stay here again! My boyfriend and I had a great time in Austin, and Luca's place made us feel at home. It was very welcoming, and we loved coming back to it at the end of every day. The space was clean and cozy! Nothing was very far - tons to see and do less than 10 min away. Was a great place to stay! Everyone was extremely friendly and it was a private room! I would recommend this place to anyone!
This was truly a gem. The interior is beautiful and Dede made it very accommodating with plenty for the day to day as well as notes for everything and anything we may need. They left out info on surrounding restaurants and things to do. The loft was truly immaculate, clean, and a real pleasure to stay there. The neighborhood is very charming and close to everything you could need. A short drive to downtown or south Austin with easy shaded parking in the front. I can't say enough just how beautiful this place was.
Loved every second of it and didn't want to leave. Very bright and airy, but very cozy at night with the shades down. There were Topo Chicos, beers, and cream for coffee in the fridge, which was a sweet touch. My girlfriend and I spent three nights at Dede's place in Austin. The apartment was clean, spacious and in a friendly neighbourhood. The bed was comfortable and the temperature in the apartment was perfect.
The parking space was convenient in a car city like Austin. Their recommendations for things to do and eat were useful - we especially liked the El Primo taco truck. We never met the hosts but were in great communications with Steve through messages.
He responded quickly and was incredibly friendly. Even though most of the time we navigated the city by car, we walked one morning from the apartment through the residential neighbourhood into the Barton Springs Greenbelt. It was a nice hike within the city limits. We're thankful for the time spent at their place and would consider staying again if possible for our next visit to Austin.
We loved our stay. The hosts were communicative and helpful. The location is near amazing parks and quite a few restaurants. Nice walking to various cafes in the morning. We would stay again in a heartbeat. My wife and I enjoyed our stay in Steve's cottage, although it was a short stay. Steve was very helpful, and had a list of area restaurants to choose from for our evening meal.
We needed last minute accommodations due to our standby flight schedule. The location was close to the restaurant, so after our epic wait for BBQ no regrets , we were able to drive quickly to the house to sleep away our food coma.
It also had a mini fridge, which was necessary for our BBQ leftovers. There was plenty of street parking right in front since it was a residential neighborhood. AC worked great and the bed was nice and firm which was more comfortable than the hotel we had stayed in the nights before. It was centrally located to most of the activities we had planned, which was a major plus! Steve and his wife were very sweet and helpful.
Highly recommend this place for those that are looking for a central location. Awesome place, made us feel very welcome with a bottle of wine, slices of pie, and homemade granola and yogurt.
Really nice space that is private, a lot of natural lighting. Steve's backyard cottage was a perfect spot to stay on our drive across the country.
We really enjoyed how quiet it was and our dogs loved it as well. Steve was very responsive and welcoming. Steve is a great host, communicates timely and clearly about the cottage, which is most comfortable, great location near UT and neighborhood coffee shops, bars, and restaurants.
The cottage is clean, well-stocked, with the most comfortable bed, thick towels, great lighting, and AC! Kinds hosts, yogurt and juice are in the fridge, granola and granola bars welcome you with info sheet on local dining, bars, and coffee shops - coupons were left for free coffee too at Cherrywood Cafe nearby.
Steve was wonderful and friendly, the cottage was the perfect size for a relaxing stay, and yet still close enough to all that ATX has to offer. This is certainly one of the best Airbnb's I've stayed in.
Steve is really cool and interesting to talk to. The cottage has every amenity necessary and its located in a quiet neighborhood that is still close to downtown and campus. Thanks for the hospitality, Steve! I stayed one night with my boyfriend and it was wonderful. Well-furnished casita at the back of the main house with plenty of privacy. Loved the interior - exactly as it looks in the photos.
Thunderbird Cafe was excellent: Would definitely stay again. We had an amazing short stay! Michael was very organized and made sure to answer any questions we had. The place is so clean and pretty and the location is extremely convenient. We hope to be back soon! Great apartment, clean, quiet, nice modern design.
Michael is very responsive via email, but otherwise unobtrusive, a great combo. Easy min walk to many of the restaurant highlights of east Austin. Michael was prompt with getting me directions into his home.
We did not meet initially but ran into each other during my stay. The home was exactly as described. Not the best experience I have had on Airbnb. Clean, modern, central apartment in a safe neighborhood!
Walked to all the bars and restaurants on 6th St. Michael also gave us great recommendations! Michael was a gracious host who was communicative and responsive and provided clear instructions and guidelines about the stay. The space was clean and cozy and everywhere we wanted to go was either a nice walk or short Uber away.
My go-to place when visiting Austin. Dependable, affordable, centrally-located, friendly host, etc, etc, etc,. Michael was a great communicator from the moment we booked. He provided all the necessary details we needed to feel at home. Toiletries and other comforts expected in a hotel were also available.
Wine and chocolates were the cherry on top! I highly recommend staying here. Just a short drive from all of our downtown Austin favorites with easy access to the highway!
My husband and I wanted to take a quick trip for the Memorial day weekend to Austin, but did not want to stay in a regular hotel. We always thrive on ensuring where we stay is an experience within itself. We had no idea anything like this existed for rent! We were amazed at how up-to-date the entire home was and how much space it had. Very pleasant and extremely patient; he also gave very fast thorough answers to our questions, and continued to offer his assistance if we had any other questions.
My husband instantly booked for 2 nights! Michael also took time to ask if we were celebrating anything special; as he was very personable and accommodating. He sent our Welcome email as promised, with easy to follow directions.
Upon arrival, everything was so clean and fresh! State of the art home appliances through and through, and amazing contemporary decor. Stocked with any and everything you can imagine! Plenty linen, towels, blankets, pillows.
I'm still in awe of our experience. Apple TV in the master bedroom and common area. Even when the horrible Tornado weather knocked out the power and the Apple TV in the common area, Michael arranged someone to come check on us and replace the Apple TV box!
He totally catered to us. Did I mention there was a bottle of champagne and a personal note waiting on us when we arrived as well?? The neighborhood was so quaint and quiet; only a few blocks from a nice shopping area! Michael has went above and beyond with this property inside and out!
So many great pieces of art and books to read. There is even a second bedroom and full second bathroom. Did I mention the jet tube in the master bedroom and rotating swiveling television from the ceiling? This home is greatness wrapped all into one. Anytime we come back to Austin, we will definitely reach out to Michael and rent here again. We felt it was home away from home.
I actually got sad leaving! Great place looks even better than in the pictures. Stayed for a family visit for four nights and had a pleasant experience overall. The home is very clean and I loved the design choices throughout.
Being a lighting snob, I appreciated the dimmers and layers of light. The yard is gorgeous and everything is private.
When you walk in you see walls of glass and it was nice to have curtains for privacy. Loved the master bedroom and bathroom with chromatherapy tub and big rainhead shower. Bed was comfortable despite being a spring mattress. Beautiful landscaping, loved the water fountain and grass in front. Only thing I would change is to add a window treatment to the front door.
This house is a flawless feature from a modern design magazine. Not one spoon or cup was chosen without perfect calculation. And the outdoor shower and bonfire pit. Michael was probably the most accommodating host to date. He gave us tons of recommendations and was very understanding when we locked ourselves out at 2 am lol. He offered to let us use his hot tub next door if we wanted and gave us a box of Illy espresso to use for the amazing espresso machine. I have referred everyone I know who travels a bit to Michaels home and am so grateful we stayed in a place so beautiful.
Thank you so Michael! This place was beautiful! Modern, clean, and so relaxing. The master bathroom is like a spa experience. Sliding doors to let all that warm air and sun in from the living room The location is easy walk to grocery store and some awesome little places to eat. I would highly recommend a stay at Michael's place.
Fantastic spot in Austin. The place is clean, beautifully furnished and was a great place for four adults. We never felt on top of each other and having two bathrooms made it even better. Host was very easy to deal with and very responsive. The place is small, but perfect for one person. Back yard is big and great, with comfortable places to sit and use the internet or enjoy nature.
It's exactly one mile from the UT campus. Walking distance to stores and restaurants. The Tiny Zen Cabin was perfect for my solo business trip. Tracy was super helpful and answered all of my questions, but gave me the privacy that I like.
I will definitely be back! Tracy is an exceptional host! Who was very responsive to any questions! The place very was nice as well! The cabin is so nice, zen. I really appreciate the independance i have. All was perfect, i recommand. I walked from downtown to the cabin several times, it's not so far when you like walking Tracy was an extremely attentive host. Even though my schedule prevented us from meeting face-to-face, she sent regular messages throughout my stay, checking on my comfort and needs.
The place was neat, clean, quiet, and soothing --exactly what I needed on this trip. This little space is in a lovely neighborhood, very convenient to restaurants and the university. It was comfortable and clean, and an excellent value compared to hotel options. It felt like a little peaceful retreat with the decoration scheme the lovely garden area.
Tracy was responsive and kind host. Tracy was a very gracious host. She was very responsive with all communication. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Be sure to read the description as she does say that it's a fairly small space. Also there is no tv, but there is wifi. Overall I enjoyed the entire experience and I would recommend the Zin Cabin to a friend.
This apartment was amazing! View was spectacular and the pool was great for cooling down and relaxing. Getting around was super easy and check-in was a breeze. Very clean, modern, all the amenities you could need. Awesome condo in downtown Austin. Within walking distance of many wonderful restaurants and attractions. Parallel was very responsive and easy to get a hold of. Condo is very cute and the complex has a great pool and amazing views. The condo is well located, it has amazing views, and amenities: Light sleepers should be wary of the 6th street bar scene.
The noise machine was helpful. That should be included in the rental but unfortunately was not. Great little place in downtown Austin with a balcony and stunning view. Keep in mind it does get a bit loud at night with the live music but ear plugs and a white noise fan is provided. Great amenities such as washer dryer and kitchen.
Truly a home away from home! The attention to detail, cleanliness, and comfort definitely makes you wanting to extend your stay or consider a return trip in the near future. So stylish and as described.
Thanks for hosting us! We had a great time here. Nice location, close to everything! Would stay here again! The flat is the perfect space for two people. It was everything we needed and more! You absolutely can't help but fall madly in love with this place! I found myself excited to come home at the end of everyday because the space was just so inviting and comfortable. You're making a HUGE mistake if you pass this place up.
I wish I could have stayed longer! Very convenient to get to restaurants with Lyft. Hosts were very responsive. They were so sweet and thoughtful. They left us a bag of coffee beans at the door because they were worried we were running low. Highly recommend this spot!! Juli and Carter's place was amazing.
They had all the amenities you needed to make you feel right at home. I felt right at home staying here. The hosts were extremely helpful and accessible at all times. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. They were not far from the activity happening at SXSW, but distant enough to detach from it. Being my first Airbnb experience, I absolutely enjoyed it.
Thanks Juli and Carter! The host was very nice and always responded quickly. The studio is so stylish and relaxing. So many great spots nearby as well. I will definitely be coming back.
Very quiet neighborhood incredible close to downtown. Perfect size for one person. Stayed a month and they were incredibly accommodating. Would not hesitate to stay here again. This is a wonderful, private, clean, safe space. Very quiet, completely adorable. Located in a fun area with unique shops nearby. The studio is charming, delightfully decorated, and the hosts have thought of every detail! Fantastic, well decorated studio space not far from nightlife.
My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay. Check-in was a breeze, the bed was comfy, I had all I needed and it was nice and quiet. This place was perfect for what my friend and I were looking for. It was cozy and clean. I would highly recommend staying at this location. The check in process made it very easy to come and go at your own leisure.
The studio was VERY clean, cool and comfortable. When we discovered we needed to add an extra guest, Singer provided extra bedding and towels right away. I highly recommend the studio for anyone staying in Austin. Singer's place was just as described, super clean and quaint, and check in communication was easy and great.
Bus 7 was easy to pick up about 7 minute walk away. Spot was clean, modern, and roomy. So much better than a hotel and looked much better than the pics. Nice quiet spot, but we were still able to walk to the Capitol. Minutes from the finish of the MS Kristen offers a clean place, reasonably priced, within easy walking distance of downtown even in Austin heat. The bed was comfy, and it was plenty of space for me.
Kristen went out of her way to resolve an issue I had when checking in, so in future I'll know I'm in good hands. Neighborhood tip if you're staying here: Over on 13th and Rio Grande St there's a coffee trailer called Bru that makes amazing coffee, tea, and oatmeal. It was very easy to grab an excellent cup on my morning walk to work.
Kristen's apartment was the perfect home base for mine and my girlfriend's adventures in Austin. Centrally located, rustic and minimalist aesthetic, clean and modern features. The perfect spot for two people to get out and experience the city. Convenient location with parking. Minimal options in kitchen so bring supplies if you plan to cook. We stayed at Kristen's for two nights. The place had everything we needed! Very comfortable, lots of space! Kristen had a very useful folder with things to do in the city.
Checking in and out was easy. There is an awesome Southern restaurant a stone throw away that had one of the best fish dishes I've ever eaten! Kristen had a binder of info about the area that was really helpful. Felt like I had a concierge for my trip. Great place in downtown Austin. Kristen gave very clear instructions and the apartment was lovely. However bed wasn't that comfortable for two people as the mattress sinks a bit in the middle.
Good location - easy access to lots of Austin sights. Great place to relax after a fun-packed day! The stay was cozy and it had everything we needed for our stay in Austin. Great place to stay, will make sure to remember this place for next time. Mark was very informative and helpful.
This place was very conveniently located right next to UT Austin. Everything we wanted to do was very accessible. Great place to stay if you're traveling to Austin by yourself or with another person.
